Welcome to Corpus Christi Parish
We would like to extend a warm welcome to all visitors on our parish website.
Please feel welcome to participate in any or all of the events planned.
Our church in Corpus Christi has been restored to a very high standard in recent years thanks to the hard work, commitment and generosity of all concerned.
Corpus Christi is a Parish of about 2,000 homes situated on Dublin’s North Side, about three miles from Dublin Airport. Our Church was built in 1941 in what has been characterized as the ‘Art Deco’ style.
It is a fine building built on Cathedral proportions and stands out when floodlit at night in what can be described as 'hovering’ on the Drumcondra skyline.
It was built through the effort and enterprise of the first residents of the Parish during the hard times of the 1930's and 40's.
Today Corpus Christi is a lively community of about 7,000 people seeking to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the 21st Century.
Our Parish reflects the diversity that is Ireland in the 21st century. Peoples from many parts of the world come to worship and all are encouraged to participate in some way in Parish life. A real sense of community is felt here and the generosity and openness of the people of Drumcondra is as present today as it was 70 years ago.
Our website is a way of introducing you to our Parish community. We extend a warm welcome to all to join in our prayer and efforts, as followers of Jesus Christ, to bring the Gospel message to each other and to the wider Community.
